Melynda Choothesa, CEO

Senior Fashion Stylist, Costume Designer, Fashion Designer, Art Director

As a child, Melynda Choothesa would sit for hours sketching outfits and making cartoon drawings of women in different designs (much of this was inspired by her uncle, Danny Choothesa, whose travels in the US Navy left him shopping for her and drawing style guides he would send her each season).

Since then, Melynda has become a tenured, Clio Award-winning costume designer & fashion stylist with 15+ years of experience in still photography/commercial fashion styling as well as motion picture/television costume design. Melynda has worked on projects with Akon, Bad Bunny, Bhad Baby, Elijah Wood, Rosario Dawson, Google, YouTube, Papa Roach, Megadeth, Marshmello, and many more. Additionally, Choothesa has her own upscale vintage showroom & ready-to-wear clothing line (both named, appropriately, "Quirk"); her line is based on her photography and original artwork, both of which draw inspiration from her travels to far-flung locations while shooting both domestically and overseas, as well as during her regular travels to visit family in Thailand, her mother's home country.

Additionally, having done theatre from the age of 7, when she's not working as the head of the wardrobe department/art directing & styling photo shoots, Melynda can be found acting/modeling commercially & considers herself lucky to have done on-camera jobs for Apple, Square, Pepsi, Nevada Energy, and Universal Pictures.
